This post announces the official launch of on my web site Amanderbane.com. Amanderbane is a word I made up a long time ago. It describes the experience of discovering that often what we search for most, has been with us all along.
That is the thought behind the materials I use for my artwork. But more importantly, where the inspiration or story the works try to convey. I need to remind myself of that thought when asking myself, “what shall I make next.”
I first used to use this domain for my first personal blog, on which was all kinds of hideous flashing gifs and a list of all the movies I have ever saw in person, ranked from best to worst. But now it is for posting my artwork.
